The Bunnythorpe junior Rugby team met Linton at Bunnythorpe on Saturday. The match resulted in a win for Bunnythorpe by 9 points to nil. The first spell closed wit.l Bunnythorpe’s score 3, R. Clevcly having secured a try which was not converted. In the second spell W. Sutherland crossed the line twice, making tho total 9. Both teams played fairly well, nut several opportunities wero lost. Mr. H. Hughes refereed.

To-night (Tuesday) has been set down as a training night as well as Thursday and players aro requested to put in an appearance. Several players have expressed their intention of doing some training each evening this week, and it i 3 hoped that all will endeavour to fall in line.

At the June meeting of the Women’s Institute this week a demonstration of barbola work will be given by Miss M. AVood. The competition will bo for the best pine-needle cake basket. Miss C. Casey left for AVcllington on Monday, from where she will sail to-day for Sydney.
