Tho Auckland Trotting Club’s winter meeting was concluded in overcast but lino weather, and tho track was soft. Thcro was a good attendance, and tho totalisator figures for tho day were £25,296 15s, as compared with £21,074 5s on the second day last year, tho increaso being £4222 10s. Tho figures for the meeting were £40,523, as compared with £35,029 10?, an increaso of £IS93 10s. Results. Autumn Lu won narrowly on the post and Colleen Murphy was fourth, followed by Wiriwhata and Nelson Pirate.

Silver Bingen’ ran to tho front approaching the 'turn, leading Pukcmiro, Raider and Realty into the straight. Silver Bingen stayed on to win comfortably from Realty, who headed the other two.
