MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Mr. J. C. Young presided at tho biweekly meeting of tho management committee of tho Manawatu Soccer Association on Thursday evening. Also present were Messrs F. W. Ivey, H. Facer, H. Kempson, A. G. Baldwin, li. Lock and J. B. Smillie (secretary). Thoro was an apology for absence from Mr. J. 11. Dick. The secretary reported that no reply had been, received from tho Taranaki and Wanganui Associations in regard to tho triangular contest suggestions. Tho N.Z.F.A. advised that, in tho Chatham Cup series, tho Palmerston North finalist would meet, tho \\ anganui entrant (Woollen Mills) at lamerston North on July 22,-Keceiyed. Tho South Auckland Football Association forwarded a clearance from the Hamilton Wanderers team for Corltindale.—Received. It was decided that tho Athletic-bt. Andrew's Chatham Cup match for today commence at 2.45 p.m. Mr. Baulwin agreed to officiate at the gate. For the Athletic-Athletic (Wanganui) match at Palmerston North on July 1 Mr. Ivey was appointed referee. St. Andrew’s will play- Thisbiu _ Wanganui on the same day, these being the final games of tho seiies. Tho secretary of the To Awe Awe Club (junior grade) applied for a ruing concerning a match with b . Paul’s on Juno 17 when the former side played with nine players till baittime and then made a move to add two players. The referee, however ruled that these players could not be fielded. Tho committee’s opinion was requested. It was decided to refer the matter to a badge-holding referee for a ruling. CHATHAM COP Athletic team to play St. Androw’s will be as follows: —J. Crowe, Askam, Kempson, Babbitts, Beer, Travers, Rainford, H. Childs, Watt, Ilcarsey, Cummings (captain). Reserves: Elliott, Harriman.
