Assaulted in Her Home
PETONE WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Juno 23. Suffering from a contused wound of the scalp, shock and eye injuries, the latter caused by having pepper thrown in her face, Mrs M. E. Levy, of 114 Richmond Street, Petone, was taken to tho hospital from, the Petone Police Station shortly after 1 o’clock this morning by the Pree Ambulance. It is understood that Mrs Levy was assaulted at her home, but no further details of the affair are available at present.
