Life Saving for Constables
REQUEST FOR TRAINING. Per Press Association. , ’ WELLINGTON, June 22. A request that police constables should be trained in the art of life saving and resuscitation was made to the Minister of Justice, tho Hon. J. G. Cobbc to-day by a deputation representing the New Zealand Life Saving Society. Tho Minister expressed sympathy with the proposal and suggested that representatives of the Society should interview the Commissioner of Police.
