The Tivoli
GEORGE SIDNEY AND CHARLIE MURRAY Whenever the names of Charlie Murray and George .Sidney are attached to a picture it is safe to expect entertainment that is not only funny but that introduces you to some delightful characters that ring pretty true to life. ••Caught Cheating," the Celebrity feature shown yesterday at the Tivoli Theatre with these two popular comedians, is that kind of a picture. It is howlingly funny, not only in its dialogue, but in its situations, and witn these situations fraught with suspense and danger the laughs grow, into shrieks. The poor man is frantic, because he hasn’t anything but funeral expenses to leave Hi is wife, and when Charlie Murray comes along and practically promises him a million-dollar contract if lie will help him paint tne town red, Sidney agrees to do what he can between dodging bullets. They go to the masked ball and, unfortunately for Sidney, one of the girls that Murray picks for them to play with is none other than Mrs Gangster. Neither recognises the other, however, benind their masks, and they have more darned fun at that party before they make this discovery, and also discover that the gangster is there—and he didn't leave his guns at home. In fact, he is there for the express purpose of bumping Sidney off.. There will be a matinee this afternoon.
