From Our Own Correspondent. Golf Fiic following team will represent the Herrington Golf Club in an interclub match against Bulls to be played on the local links to-day:—E. T. Wilson, J. B. Macpherson, M. B. Bergin, B. Gavin, G. Wood 3, C. W. Pedersen, E. Pedersen, A. P. Easton, J. D. Purcell, M. Baird, J. Newton, D. E. Ogilvy. The Bulls Club will be represented by the following:—J. S. Tucker, H. J. Hendry, Gould, G. Bertram, A. W. Arnon, E. F. Scott, W. Robertson, S. Goebel, S. W. Ingram, Dalrymple, L. Ransom, E. Ingram. Basketball Several keenly contested games were played on Easton Park on Wednesday afternoon between the A, B and C teams of the Foxton Basketball Club. The trophy, a box of chocolates, was won by the A team, who defeated B team by 9 points to 4. B team, in their game against C team, emerged winners by 15 points to 2. In the matches between High School and Town, the scores were as follow: High School A 11 v. Town A 5; Town B 11 v. High School B 4. Personal Mrs W. S. Walker, of Palmerston North, is on a short visit to Foxton, whore she is the guest of her sister, Mrs’ C. H. Symons. Mr E. L. Goldfinch, of Wellington, was a visitor to Foxton on Thursday.
