Gigantic Structure Planned for Paris

M. Freysinnct, the well-known engineer, has prepared plans of a tower in reinforced concrete of twice the height of Eiffel Tower, 2300 l’cct, to be ready for the exhibition in 1937, hoping to repeat the sensations Eiffel caused at tho exhibition in 1899. The estimated cost is £4-10,000 to £550,000. Tho first platform, at IG4O feet, will bo reached by motor-cars and charabancs by means of inclined ways, while the second platform, at 1968 feet, will bo reached by special cars. At the very summit will bo a solarium, where a sun cure will bo possible; also a gigantic beacon.

M. Freysinnot proposes to havo the tower erected on Mont Vallerian. He suggests that the new Tower of Babel be called tho Lighthouse of tho World.
