Fire in Picture Theatre

A message from Guadaljara, Mexico, states that 41 were killed and 70 gravely injured on Monday in a motion picture theatre fire in the town of Ahualulco. A high tension wire short circuited and caused the panicstricken audience to stampede. Twenty people were trampled to death and twenty were electrocuted when the wire dropped across a handrail along the front of the gallery.
