Wellington Post Office Bells Silent
OVERHAUL AFTER LONG PERIOD OF DUTY. Per Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. The bells of the Wellington General Post Office clock tower aro undergoing an overhaul and arc silent for the flrst time for many years. The clock, however, continues without interruption. The bells have dono duty since 1899.
