A PICTURE POR THE WHOLE P AMPLY.

In the current attraction at the Shannon Talkies, Seth Parker, a genial, warm-hearted, shrewd old farmer, presides self-appointed over the minor and major destinies of other people of the town and countryside of Joucsport. Living with Seth and his wife is young Robbie, an orphan, whom they adopted when his mother died and his 'worthless father, Rule Turner, deserted him. They love him like the son he believes himself to be. Up tiie roadway, not far from tho Parkers, lives “Runaway Rosie,” scorned by all except the Parkers, because her son, David, lias no legal name. David is employed by Wobblin’ Duffy, a mean old farmer, whose daughter, Mary Lucy, is in lose with David. DafiT is fired when Wobblin’ learns of the young couple’s affair. Seth attempts to befriend them cnly to arouse the anger of Wobblin’. And when Rufo returns to town the farmer tells the worthless father that the Parkers have never adopted Robbie legally. Mary Lucy attends a barn dance where she meets David against her lather’s wishes. When the latter learns of this he orders her out of his house. Mary goes to the Tarkers for refuge.
