Fair and Cooler
WELLINGTON, Last Night.
The northern depression is now centred north-east of East Cape. A shallow westerly depression is also moving eastward off tho Dominion, followed by an anti-cyclone of slight intensity.
Winds: Becoming southerly, generally moderate to strong. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather Tough on cast coast and north of Farewell Spit; moderate elsewhere. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate south-west to southerly winds and smooth to moderate seas.
Weather: For the most part fair to fine, but scattered showers likely, more especially on the cast coast of the North Island. Temperatures cooler.
