Starr-Bowkett Building Society
Ballots for free of interest loans were held last evening, the following being successful; Mr. A. J. Harvey, £3OO in No. 3 group; Mr. C. E. Dempsy, £SOO in No. 4 group, and Mrs. C. Baldwin, £SOO in No. 7 group. The directors met at tho conclusion of the ballots, there being present Messrs. M. A. Eliott, chairman; I, B. Gcrrand, D. Morrison, S. W. Bapley, S. J. Watson and H. P. Wilson. An apology for absenco was received from Mr. P. Jackson. Loans were provisionally approved for £SOO in No. 5 group, £SOO in No. 6 group, £SOO in No. 7 group, £IOOO in No. 8 group and £SOO in No. 9 group. Ballots will be held in several groups at the next meeting.
