ANOTHER THREAT TO CHINA
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyright Received Tuesday, 9.30 p.m. SHANGHAI, March 14. It is reported that secret negotiations are going on between Chiang Kai Shek and the Japanese authorities in North China for the purpose of reaching au agreement regarding the border between China and Manchukuo, thus avoiding further hostilities. The Japanese announeo that China must make a prompt decision as they are losing patience over their heavy losses as a result of daily fighting in the Jehol passage, where the Chinese are being steadily reinforced by Government troops and others massing preparatory to launching the offensive which Chiang promised the nation.
