DRAW FOR SILVER BUTTONS - The annual competitions for the Silver Buttons in the Manawatu Ciocjuct Association commence on Wednesday (to-morrow) morning at 9 o'clock. Tho A players meet on Takaro greens, the following being the draw:— Mrs. Robertson v. Mrs. Bryant; Mrs. Anstis v. Mrs. Fenwick. B players, Manawatu greens: Mrs. Cook, a bye. First round: Mrs. lvenyon v. Mrs. Burnett; bottom byes, Mesdames Bruce and Morgan. C players at Northern greens: Mrs. Feild v. Mrs. Bowater; winner to play Mrs. Read. Friendly Games at Feilcling. Northern players visited 1‘ cilding on Friday and played friendly games against the Central Croquet Club, the matches resulting'—Mesdamcs Fuller and Ellery (Feildiug) beat Mesdamcs Killick and Valentine, 21—19; Mesdamcs White and Flavell (Feilding) drew with Mesdamcs Moxom and Reed, oo 22*
