Bulls

Two cricket matches were played in Bulls last week-end, Bulls and Ngaio Station trying conclusions on No. 1 wicket, and Bangitikei Dairy Company and Marton Junction meeting on No. 2. Bulls scored a decisive win over Ngaio by an innings and 50 runs. Bulls made 201, top scorers being F. 'Murphy (a splendid 75), Meads (59), Sadler (33), Stork (25) and Cole (21). Ngaio made 87 in their first strike, of which Carpenter compiled 42 not out, and in their second innings they knocked up 108. Miller (28) and Spcndlovc (29) were top scorers.
The game on No. 2 wicket wus p#a.ycd in one innings. Marton Junction went in first and ran up a useful J.J2, Horsman (27) and Fisher (23) heading the batting list. Factory scored at a good rate when they went to the crease and hit up altogether 169 runs. Lyon (35), Young (53)' and Homes (37) were the most useful batsmen.
