The billiards test resulted: —Davis 24,758; Lindrum 24,007, including 881. Tho papers emphasise that though Lindrum was beaten in every game his superiority is unquestionable. The baulk line handicap alone provented him overcoming tho hugo starts. Newman and McConachy begin the deciding match for tho gold cup on March 13.
