Feilding Ladies’ Golf Club

ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Feilding Ladies’ Golf Club was held on Friday night, Mrs. C. V. Newton-Broad presiding over a good attendance of members. The annual report briefly covered the activities. during the season and extended .congratulations to Mrs. T. Carthew, senior champion, and Miss Irwin, junior champion. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—Club captain, Mrs. Broad; secretary, Mrs. Reedy; committee, Mesdames, L. Gorton, J. Graham, E. Fair, and Misses J. Crabb, G. Curtis, T. Carthew and E. Redwood. The meeting considered a proposal to do away with continuous medal competitions and a proposal to this effect was defeated.

It was resolved to play the matches in future on Tuesdays instead of on Thursdays. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Miss P. Goodbehere, the retiring secretary, for her excellent work during the year.
