St. David's Church Social Guild
ACTIVITIES RESUMED. Tho first meeting of the year of St. David's Church Social Guild (Terrace End) was held in the Bible Class rooms of St. David’s Church yesterday afternoon when competitions and musical items provided pleasant entertainment. Songs were contributed by Mrs. McLachlan and Mrs. Niven. Miss Melba Niven gave fnusical monologues and Mrs. McLachlan and Miss Frances Ilonoro played pianoforte solos. Miss Doreen Saunders was the accompanist. Competitions were won by Mrs. Davidson and Mrs. Townshend. The hostesses who dispensed a dainty tea were Mcsdames Glendinning, Gilchrist, Forster, Stewart, McLachlaan and Townshend. There was a pleasing incident during the afternoon when a bouquet was presented to Mrs. Gicndinning, the 1 incoming president.
