HAROLD LLOYD IN “MOVIE CRAZY’’
With audiences rolling in the aisles and laughter bulging the walls of the Tivoli theatre, Harold Lloyd’s newest Paramount release, “Movie Crazy,’’ which is his first comedy in two years, got off to an auspicious start for its local engagement yesterday afternoon. It is the funniest comedy Lloyd has made since “College Days,” and it proves—if proof were needed —that the two years of silence have only served to mature and perfect the comedian’s art. Constance Cummings heads a supporting cast that is of exceptional excellence. Her role is an exacting one, and she lives up to its every requirement. The second male lead is in the competent hands of Kenneth Thompson, and Louise Glosser Hale shares honours with the stellar comedian in the most hilarious of the many hilarious sequences. Included in the supports is a Silly Symphony cntitlod “Fox Hunt.” A matinee will be held to-day.
