Stock Market Report
The Dominion Auctioneering Co. report having an extra large yarding of pigs and a full yarding of poultry for their mart sale on Saturday. Prices paid for pigs showed a marked rise on the previous week’s, and prices for poultry were firm. Realisation's were as follow:—Pigs: Weancrs, 6s, 7s, 10s 6d, 11s Gd; slips, 12s to 14s; stores, 14s to 15s 6d, 17s 6d; light porker's, 22s 6d, 23s 6d, 245, 255, 265, 28s. Poultry: Cockerels, 2s 6d to 4s 6d per pair; white hens, 2s 4d to 3s 8d per pair; 8.0. hens, 3s 4s to 4s 8d per pair; ducks, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per pair; roosters, 3s to 4s per pair; laying hens, 2s 2d to 3s lOd per pair.
