Shipbuilders Busy
Best Fillip for Several
Years
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Received Friday, 10.45 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 27. Shipbuilding is enjoying one of the best fillips for several years. Orders have been placed since November for 58 vesels of all types while the Admiralty will place contracts in March fex vessels authorised under the 1932 programme. i This improvement following ten months of almost complete stagnation, is attributed partly to the co-operation cf steelmakers who are supplying materials at rates enabling shipbuilders to tender at tempting prices.
