ANNUAL MEETING. Officers elected for the ensuing year to the executive of the New Zealand Croquet Council at the delegates’■ meeting at Lower Hutt aTO as follow: President, Captain F. Unanimous approval was accorded the motion, 1 ‘ That tho English Croquet Association be requested to insist that all associations, clubs, and residents of the Dominion that affiliate with it Shall also affiliate with the New Zealand Croquet Council, unless the Now Zealand Croquet Council agrees to waive this formality.” Provision was made for the officers of the council to consist of two vicepresidents instead of ono. Any two of the offices could be combined, with tho exception of president and vice-presi-dent and hon. secretary and hon. treasurer.

After some discussion it was decided, on the casting vote of the president, that nominations for the council should be forwarded thirty days before tho annual meeting, and that tho secrotary should issue a copy of tho nominations at least twenty-one days before tho annual meeting. Alterations to a rule which would make possible the formation of a North Auckland Croquet District, and a Wanganui Croquet District, wero agreed to, and the council executive was empowered to make the necessary adjustments. It was decided to transfer the county of Clutha from tho Southland to the Otago Oroquot District. The closo of tho council's year for financial and other purposes was fixed at November 30 instead of at December 31 es at present.

A further rule added to tho Constitution provided that any club situated at such a dlstanco from tho association headquarters of a croquet district that no benefits could bo obtained from affiliation with such association in addition to those obtained from affiliation with the council direct, might make application through its district association to the council for permission to affiliate with, tho council direct. Such clubs would be grouped together and treated as a separate association for tho purpose of electing a delegate to the council.
