With this was worn a beautiful hand-embroidered veil and tho customary orange blossoms, also shoes of ivory velvet and a sheaf of whito roses and maidenhair fern was canned.

There wore two bridesmaids, Miss Alma Goldfinch, of Rongotoa, and Miss Molly Prcndorgast, of Hamilton. The chief bridesmaid wore turquoise blue and apricot floral goorgefte with an ankle length flared skirt. From the back of tho neck to tho waist were tiny georgette buttons, set off with a blue velvet bow, tho sleeves falling from the shoulder to form a cape effect. An apricot chip straw hat and blue shoes formed a pretty ensemble. Miss Prcndergast’s frock was cut on tho same lines in shading of pink and lemon floral georgette and she wore a pink chip straw hat and shoes to tone. Both bridesmaids wore necklaces and earrings of rock crystal, tho gift of the bridegroom, and both carried beautiful flowers to tone with their frocks.

Mr. Claude Shore, of Hawera, was in attendance as best man and Mr. Harry Brill, of To Awamutu, carried out the duties of groomsman. After tho ceremony about fifty guests attended a rocoption in the Daffodil Tea Rooms. Mrs. Barnett wore navy blue satin beauts and hat to match, and she carried a bouquet of asters and maidenhair fern.

After tho breakfast, at which the customary toasts wero proposed and duly honoured, Mr. and Mrs. West left on their honeymoon, which includes a motor tour of the West Coast and Hawke's Bay. The bride’s travelling frock was of blue diagonal cloth cut on smart lines with protty blue hat, shoes and handbag to tone, and she carried a beautiful fur coat the gift of the bridegroom.
