Paris Brokers on Strike
THE BOURSE CLOSED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, Jan. 25. The brokers refused to transact business as a protest against M. Cheron’s proposed Budget-balancing taxes. The authorities decided to close the Bourse for the day. A great increase in unemployment is expected if the strike continues.
