Pohangina Valley

From Our Own Correspondent. On Monday, Anniversary Day, an enjoyable friendly match was played between the Bunnythorpo and Pohangina cricket teams on the Pohangiua Domain. The weather was line, with a cool breeze, making it ideal for cricket. Luncheon and afternoon tea were served by the ladies in the pavilion. The match was won by Bunnythorpe with 205 runs to Pohangiua’s 102. Each side played one innings, batting 10 men. The umpires were Mr. F. Roberts and Mr. Duthie, senior.
