MARYLEBONE’S REPLY TO AUSTRALIA. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, Jan. 24. The Star says the Marylebone reply to the Board of Control shows the iron hand in the velvet glove. Australia can be assured that there is no necessity of further talk. “If she does not like our way of playing cricket let her cease calling names and propose a rulo to alter it. We want cricket matches, not, talking matches.” The Star blames the Australian barracking for the present trouble.
