Little Girl Drowned at Tanranga
Per Press Association TAURANGA, Jan. 23. While bathing in tho surf this morning at Mount Maunganui, June Menrs, aged 13, daughter of Mr. and Airs. W. Mcars, of Walton, got into difficulties. Members of tho life-saving club ran out a reel and attempted a rescue, but their efforts were unsuccessful, the girl being drowned.
