Girl Seized in Street

The alleged attempt to kidnap a young girl, and the discovery of live little girls whose mothers are said to have been sent abroad to South America, are the latest developments in the Marceilles police researches into the white slave traffic. Since thoy arrested two men and a woman at the beginning of the month, the police believe thoy are on the track of a vast organisation for dealing in women. The alleged kidnapping attempt occurred in broad daylight. It is Stated that a girl of 18, named Rosa Reinert, was seized in a street just behind the Bourse and bundled into a motor-car in which she was taken to a house at Gardanno, near Aix. Two men, alleged to bo notorious white slave traffickers, have been arrested in connection with the affair.
