Cool and Changeable But Improving
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anticyclone extends across the Tasman Sea on to the southern half of tho South Island, but the pressure is still relatively low over the rest of the Dominion. Winds: Southerly or south-easterly, strong on parts of the East Coast and about Cook Strait, but othenvisc moderate. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather rough south of East Cape and north of Capo Egmont; moderate elsewhere. Eastern Tasman Sea: Alodcrato to strong, but decreasing southerly winds, backing to easterlies in the northern portion; seas rough. Weather: Cool and changeable; scattered showers, more especially in the eastern districts between East Cape and Banks Peninsula. Conditions improving to-morrow.
