From Our Own Correspondent. Miss Betty Lowes, of Rongamai, Eketahuna, has returned from a holiday in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Smith aro on a camping holiday in Wellington. Mrs. A. Bishop and her sister, Mrs. I. Andrew, of Wellington, liavo returned from an interesting tour of the North Auckland province. Mrs. J. Thomson, Taihape, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Evans, Eongomai. Miss J. McAuulty is a Palmerston North visitor to Eketahuna. Mr. and Mrs. W. Andrews are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mounton, Lower Hutt. In the iuterclub rifle match between tho Tararua and Opaki rifle clubs, the latter team won by a margin of 32 points. Possibles were registered at the 500 yards range by G. Costor and R. Lawrence, both Tararua men. The highest scorer was It. Lawrence who returned a total of 101 out of a possible 105. The individual scores are as follows : Opaki: J. McKenzie, jnr., 97 ; G. A cricket match between the married and single men took place on the local domain during the week-end and resulted in a -win for the single men. Alusic was supplied by Miss V. Edge, K. Alarenzi and A. Rowden. Mr. H. E. Greatford was in the capacity of M.C. and novelty dances were won by Aliss Af. Fafeita and B. Lobban, Aliss AT.
