Mrs. B. Beale, Palmerston North, is visiting Hamilton. Mrs. Ronald Ryder, of Palmerston North, is on a visit to Danncvirke and Napier. Miss Ivy Pox, Pahiatua, is a weekend visitor to Feilding, and is the guest of Mrs. J. Mulvaney, Nelson street. Miss A. Jenkins, Kimbolton, is the guest of Miss I. Aitken, Wanganui, for the week-end. Mrs. L. S. Marfell, of Pukekohe, is tho guest of her parents, Mr. andMrb. A. Guy, Bunuythorpe. Mrs. P. Wiltshire, Pongaroa, is the guest of Miss K. Owtram, Ranfurly street, for a few days. Mr and Mrs L. Whittington and children left Woodville on Friday to spend a holiday at Paraparaumu beach. In the State examination for pupil nurses held in December, Miss Anita Hustwick, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. H. Hustwick, Woodville, was successful in passing with honours.
