The Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs on Friday night issued a warning to the “Government and people of China against the unfortunate eventualities that may arise” from what he described as the invasion of Jehol province by Chinese troops, and the “positive anti-Japanese movement.” The Minister spoke in the Japanese Diet and the text of his remarks were made public by the Embassy here.

It is estimated that the ordinary revenue would be 1,289,000,000 yen and the extraordinary revenue 950,000,000 yen. The latter is mostly required for the Manchukuo costs, besides increases due to currency depreciation. Tho loans are to be taken up by the Japan Bank therefor and are equivalent to inflation, though tho bank will offer the public a favourable opportunity to participate. Better control of the exchange is also promised.
