Church Services
Mr. Wright will speak at the morning service in the Church of Christ tomorrow. Evangelist Hinrichsen will give a special address at the Gospel meeting, his subject being “Christ, and the Unemployed,’’ or “Has the Church a Message for To-day?” Mr. Parker will lead the singing at 6.45 p.m. _ Oil Monday, January 23, the combined church and Sunday school picnic will be held at Ashhurst. All Sunday school scholars will be provided with free rail tickets. The picnic train will leave at 9.45 a.m.
At Emmanuel Congregational Church, Broadway, both services to-morrow will be conducted by Pastor C. G. H. By* croft. The subject at the morning service will be “The Nature and_ Importance of Christian Zeal.” Miss Laing will render the solo at this service. The subject at the evening service at seven o’clock will be “The Great Pentecostal Test,’’ while the quartette, “Lord, Is it I?” will also be rendered. A very warm invitation is extended to visitors and strangers to the city to worship at the Congregational Church.
