Another Hot Day Telegraph—Copyright. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A slight depression passed south during Thursday night and- a weak anticyclone appears to have developed over the Tasman Sea. Pressure, however, has fallen over south-eastern Australia. Forecast: Winds variable northerly at first about Cook Strait; otherwise light and moderate southerlies prevailing; • but winds becoming northerly again shortly. Seas (N.Z. waters); Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate and variable winds, soon' tending to northerly; seas smooth to -moderate. Weather: For most part fair to cloudy, but some isolated showers probable, more especially in the Far North and eastern districts. .'.-lltTv condition's will bo setting in again to-day.
