Taking Refuge in Italy
NAZIS ACCUSED OF ATROCIOUS MURDER. SAXONY APPLIES FOR EXTRADITION United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, Doc. 29. Saxony’s Government is applying to Italy to extradite three Nazis accused of the atrocious murder of Heutsch, a Nazi storm trooper, whom they had suspected of treachery. Heutsch was shot three times, bound hand and foot, put into a sack, and thrown into a fire —it is believed, while he was alive. The suspects fled to Italy. That country usually refuses to extradite political offenders, but Saxony considers the present crime so terrible that an exception must be made.
