LATE SHOPPERS CAUGHT IN TORRENTIAL RAIN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. Received Friday, 9.35 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 30. A fierce electrical storm accompanied by torrontial rain caught Sydney business people hurrying home. The drains were unable to cope with the deluge, and water overran the gutters on to the footpaths.
