Air and Airs F. G. Pycroft, senior, of Palmerston North, are staying with Air and Airs F. G. Pycroft, junior, Napier.

Gordon Bastion, tho small son of Air and Mrs E. Bastion of Utuwai, who broko an arm recently was able to return homo from the Palmerston North Hospital yesterday.

Air. and Airs. Jack Waugh and family, of Wadcstown, Wellington, have been visiting Air. and Airs. E. J. Nash, of Otaki, and Air. and Airs. W. R. Ishcrwood, of Woodvillo.

After being associated with the Wanganui Girls’ College for tho past 42 years, Aliss Alargarct Donnelly has tendered her resignation. A sistor, Miss Alary Donnelly, who had been at tho college for 39 years, retired in 1929. In

all the two sistors had 81 years’ service at one school. This must be a record for New Zealand.

Dr. Bracht, tho Dictator of Prussia, has dictated new police regulations for bathing costumes, both male and female. Here they are: Bathing naked in public is forbidden; women may wear a costume which completely covers tho che'st and all the rest of tho upper part of the body, and fits closely and firmly under tho arms, and is provided with legs and a triangular gusset. The back of the bathing costume must not bo cut lower than tho lower end of the shoulder blades; men are allowed to batho in public only if they wear at least bathing trunks provided with legs and a triangular gusset; tho regulations do not apply where men and women bathe separately.
