THE QUARTER’S FIGURES, The returns for the Feilding Magistrate’s Court for the quarter terminating to-day together with the figures for the same period last year, given in parentheses, are- as follows: Plaints entered, 46 (116); total amount sued for, £723 7s 3d (£1348 9s); cases tried, 46 (65); total amount claimed iu cases tried, £777 13s lid (£954 12s Id); amount recovered, £709 10s (£1132 2s 2u); number of sittings, civil, 6 (8); criminal, 14 (14); offences by males, 54 (38); by females, S (8); fees and fines collected, £154 17s (£lsl 17s).
