TAKARO CUP CONTEST. A team from the Oroua Club—Brewer, Andrews, McLean, Aitken (s.)—went to Paliiatua on Wednesday afternoon to play Henshaw’s rink for the Takaro Cup. The rink has held ■ the cup through many contests and still retains it. This contest was close ail the way through, with 3.6 all ou the 20th. heau. On the final head Oroua was lying a fine 3, but Henshaw drew a beauty with his last bowl and the game ended: 17 to 10.
