Girl Carries Off Oxford's Most Coveted Honour

Miss Barbara Flower, aged 20 years, an undergraduate of Saint Margaret’s, won the Craven scholarship, the most coveted classical award at Oxford. This is the first time a woman lias been the victor. Barbara, who speaks, French, German and Celtic in addition to Latin and Greek, is a daughter of Dr. Flower, deputy keeper of manuscripts iu the British Museum.
