Freezing Workers’ Strike
LONGBURN MEN STILL PIEII A meeting of members' of the Longburn branch of the New Zealand Freezing Workers’ Federation was held to discuss the latest developments in connection with the strike, when the following resolution was carriod:— ‘‘That we, the members of the Lengburn branch of the Now Zealand Freezing Workers’ Federation, do hereby individually and collectively solemnly pledge ourselves that under no circumstances will we engago in any labour in any freezing works in New Zealand until the present dispute is settled to the satisfaction of the National Council of Action.”
