O’Donnell, J. Smith, jnr., D. Kilgour, J. A. Russell, A. O'Donnell, H. J. Lancaster, G. Shannon, A. Montgomerie, and E. Thomas. Several apologies for unavoidable abseneo were received. The annual report (previously published) and balance-sheet were read and adopted, Tho president, remarked on the small amount of interest taken in the club, outside of the executive. It was a serious matter, for in addition to the membership not increasing, tho subsidy from the parent body was also being lost. He pointed out that very little help should be given to non-members and that, despite the difficulties being faced, a small eredit balance was being shown on the year's work. Tho next Oak's class would be tho final one, he pointed out, this decisiou having been reached by the parent body owing to tho small support accorded. Successful field days and lectures had been held, but tho question of the Na-i tional Show would have to be seriously considered by the incoming committee. Mr. Lancaster, in endorsing the chairnan's remarks, also deplored tho lack of enthusiasm and tho consequent Jow membership. There wero a large number in the district who could join up, and, if this were done, the club could do splendid work similar to that being accomplished jn other centres throughout the Dominion.
