Consequent on the agreement by the Governments concerned the limitation of supplies of meat and bacon operates from next Tuesday, so Major Elliot informed the Conservative Agricultural Committee. He added that the omergency limitations affecting Argentine, Australia and New Zealand beyond the Ottawa agreements would bo reviewed before the end of December which the News-Chronicle believes indicates a further reduction in supplies. The Daily Mail understands Canada has agreed to participate in the restrictions. Ratification in Australia Received Wednesday, 9.50 p.m. CANBERRA, Nov. 16. Tho United Kingdom and Australia Trade Agreement Bill ratifying the Ottawa agreement was read a second time in the House of Representatives by 42 to 18, Mr. Fenton (cx-Ministcr of Customs) voting with tho Opposition. An attempt by Mr. Scullin, Opposition leader, to have tho Bill referred to a select committee, was defeated by 42 to 19.
