A Pretty Evening Wedding of the Week
LARCOMB—PROCTER. A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Peter's Church, Terrace End, cu Tuesday evening by the Rev. D. J. Davies, the contracting parties being Phyllis Irene, only daughter of Mr, and Mrs. W. Procter, of 42 Argyie avenue, Palmerston North, and Philip Ernest, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Larcomb, of 25 Roy street. The church was comfortably filled with friends of tne happy couple when the bride entered on the arm of her father. She looked charming in a full length frock of shell pink georgette and lace over pink satin with short lace coatee. She wore the usual veil and orange blossom and carried a bouquet of pink carnations, roses and maidenhair fern. Miss Lola Torstonson, bridesmaid, wore a beige georgette and lace frock trimmed with
apple green satin wit-b. shoes and hat to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. H. J. Anderson, ot' Wellington, as best man. After the ceremony the immediate relatives were entertained at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mrs. Procter receiving her guests wearing a wine-coloured ensemble of marocain and satin bcaute. Mrs. P. iS. Larcomb was attired in a brown tloral georgette frock with brown coat and hat. The usual toasts wore honoured and the happy couple left later by car for the south.
