Associated Livestock Auctioneers, Ltd. report on their special sale of dairy cows, heifers and bulls, held on Thursday, November 10, as under: —A fair yarding came forward, and although the quality was not up to the usual standard, there was quite a fair demand, especially for heifers, anything in- tho cow section showing quality also sold well. There was also a good enquiry for good young bulls, practically tho whole of the yarding changing hands. Quotations: —Springing heifers, good, £4 10s, £5, £5 ss, £5 15s, £O, £6 ss, £6 15s to £7; smaller and later calvers, £2 10s, £3, £3 2s Gd, £3 7s Gd, £3 10s, £3 17s Gd, £4, £4 ss, to £-4 7s Gd; heifers in milk, £2 2s Gd, £3 17s Gd, £4 ss, £4 10s, £5 to £6 10s; cows, springing, £3 15s, £5, £G 15s to £7 12s Gd; aged pedigree cows, to £5 ss; cows in milk, £4 10s, £5, £5 2s Gd, £6 to £7; 2-yr. Jersey bulls, £3 10s, £5, £5 10s; pedigree yearling bulls, £7 7s; grade yearling bulls, £2 ss, £2 10s, £3 5s to £3 7s Gd.

FEILDING SALE. Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd. report on their supplementary cattle fair as under:—Wo had a heavy yarding of cattle of all ages, which met with only fair competition. Grown bullocks did not attract much attention, young steers and females created spirited bidding with prices slightly easier than those ruling at recent fairs. Tho beef section was again well supplied with good quality cows and heifers with a few pens of nice quality bullocks, sold freely, although prices receded slightly on recent values. In the yearling Jersey heifer section thorc was a good yarding, some nice quality heifers coming forward, although the bidding was keen, prices in this section also receded slightly.

Fat 3heep: A fairly heavy yarding in this section, especially of ewes, with values easier than recent quotations.

Store sheep: An average entry in this section, and we have to report a good sale, 2-tooth ewes being in particularly keen demand, also ewes with lambs at foot being keenly competed for.

Quotations: —Fat wethers, 8s Gd, 10s Gd, 10s 9d to 11s 4d; singles, 9s, 11s 6d, 12s to 12s Gd; fat ewes, woolly ewes, 6s 4d, 6s 9d, 8s Id, 8s 4d; shorn ewes, 4s lid, ss, 5s Gd, 5s 9d, 6s, Gs Gd, 6s 9d to 7s; fat hoggets, 9s, 9s 3d, 9s 6d, 10s, 10s Gd to 10s lOd; spring lamb, 10s, 11s 9d.

Store sheep: A good line of 2-th. ewes in the wool realised 14s Gd; shorn 2-th. ewes, 9s, 10s 7d to 11s lOd; shorn 2-th. wethers, 7s 9d to Ss 3d, to 9s; ewes and lambs, 10s Sd to 15s lOd. Cattle: 4 and 5-yr. bullocks, to £3 15s; 3-yr. P.A. steers, £2 10s to £2 19s, to £3 11s; 2-yr. P.A. steers, £2 4s, £2 5s to £2 8s; yearling P.'A. steers, 32s to 355; yearling Hereford steers, 38s; a line of purebred P.A. heifers, 2-yr., realised £2 7s; yearling P.A. heifers, 21s, 275, 29s to 30s; Hereford and P.A. cowu in calf to P.A. and Hereford bulls, to £2 2s; P.A. cows and calves, not much condition, to 395; empty, good conditioned P.A. and Hereford cows, 345, 39s to £2.
