In the Ainslio Shield match between Robinson and Barnes, both Wort and Beattie, of the Northern Club, played excellently on the long heads and helped, to a large extent, to account for the comfortable load established in this game by King’s Northern rink. Ail played a good steady drawing game against Rabonc's rink. Robinson, the Alanawatu lead, playing in his first big match, howled like a veteran, and his form is most encouraging.
