Fourth Remand in P.D.G Burglary Charge
TO BE HEARD TO-DAY The sequel to tho burglary at the Premier Drapery Company's premises in the Square on October 30 will be heard in the Palmerston North Magistrate's Court this morning. Yesterday, before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., Barney Vincent Reardon was charged wnth breaking and entering tho storo on October 30 and stealing goods valued at £l3O. For the police, Senior Detective Quirko asked for a remand until today, this being granted. In reply to a question by accused as to why he had been continually remanded since his apprehension in Wellington, Senior Detective Quirke said that he had had no control over the three previous remands.
