Tho central office of the recently established Youth Employment and Welfare Committee has been in. operation only a few days, but in that time over 60 boys have been registered, it is pleasing to note that a number ot boys have already been placed in employment during the last few days.
Tho man strength of the British merchant navy is normally about 10S,000, including all ranks.
