Wrestling
NEXT TUESDAY’S BOUT Persistent and dogged Anton Hodman is one who never lets up, and he is tremendously busy at present keeping himself in the necessary fast trim for his meeting with the jiu jitsu speed merchant, Kio Kameda. Anton is confident that it will be his hand the referee will raise in token of victory next Tuesday night at the Showgrounds stadium, but the son of Nippon has other ideas. Whoever is the winner will know at the end of the bout that he has had to go all out to Tceeive the end of the purse that CarTies the most weight. It is safe to predict that when the contest is over the audience will havo witnessed an exhibition of speed and undiluted wrestling science never before provided in this city. Kameda is due to arrive in Palmerston North to-day, and at 8 o’clock this evening will give a short, interesting demonstration at the Apollo Club, to which the general public is invited.
